How would you describe the food and dining options?

I would say that the food at Seton Hall is pretty good. There is a lot of diverse options always available in the dining hall and there are options to also make your own food as well. Having the dining hall be all buffet style helps to put the stress off of figuring out what I want to eat by paying for a meal or using a limited meal swipe. I also like that they have the feature station where there is a chef making fresh meals directly on the stove and it goes straight onto your plate all throughout the week. I think that the food does taste good and if there was a day where I did not want anything premade in the dining hall having the ability to make my own pasta, fried rice, burrito bowl, or sandwich was an amazing alternative.

In what clubs or organiziations have you participated and how have they impacted your overall experience?

I participated in the theater council in my sophomore and junior year and I think it made my overall experience at Seton Hall better. The people were so welcoming to me and helped me become more confident in myself to try new experiences. I was able to participate in stage management, backstage crew, and lighting design, all while meeting incredible people. Without having the experiences that the theater council allowed me to have, my time at Seton Hall would not have been nearly as fun or memorable as it has been.

Are there any quirky or unique traditions that make your college special?

Christmas at the hall is a unique tradition that always makes the holiday season so special. The first Wednesday after Thanksgiving our massive tree in the center of the green is lit in a huge ceremony that features clubs and organization performances and speakers with blue and white Santa hats given away to students with hot chocolate and cookies. Its so nice to see the whole school come out and celebrate the start of the holiday season.
