Brooke's Review
Review of Seton Hall University
In which ways do you feel you are learning and growing?
Most of my classes push me out of my comfort zone and have made me a better public speaker and leader. The school's 3 required core classes have introduced me to different viewpoints and ways of life, which have broadened my world view.

This college introduces you to new viewpoints and styles of instruction (as most colleges do). Seton Hall challenges their students by pushing them to go a step further than academics and step into leadership.

Dorm life is fun and a great way to meet people. The dorms are actually pretty nice and the RAs are super helpful and friendly.

The dining hall is huge and has great options. Sometimes it gets a little old but overall I think it is very nice.

A lot of people go to the city for fun, but at SHU the basketball games, SAB events, and different club or org events are fun things to do.

I hold VP leadership positions in my sorority (Alpha Gamma Delta), National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, and Project Sunshine. I am also apart of Blue Crew. These orgs have made my experience so much better and richer.

I like our tradition of the tree lighting ceremony.
How does this institution support campus safety or mental health and wellness programs?
We have an amazing public safety office that makes me feel so safe walking around by myself. We also have the SHU shuttle and SHU ride which are free forms of transportation. In terms of mental health, we have CAPS, a free counseling service.
How has your college supported your career development and future goals?
The career center is very useful in preparing for internships, interviews, and hosts a variety of networking events.
