The academic aspect of this school has been very enjoyable. I've been able to take a variety of classes that I've learned so many new things from. The professors that I've come in contact with have been excellent. I had no problems with any of them. The workload was not overwhelming and I was able to gain knowledge while interacting with both the professors and fellow students.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
The main thing I enjoy about this college is the campus. The campus is beautiful. Although it is not very large, the scenery makes up for it. Throughout the whole school a wide variety of trees, plants and flowers are arranged. All of this adds to the natural feeling of the school. It is as though you are walking through a forest rather than a college campus.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
For the price that students have to pay to attend this school, I'd say it is worth it. Having access to both rural and urban landscapes is definitely a bog plus. The school is extremely close to the beach and the city. Being able to get aroound so easily and having so many opportunities from the placement of this school has been a big reason why paying the price has not been as painful.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
As bad as the housing provided my be, I would suggest living in the dorms for atleast the first year. I made the decision to live off-campus my first year and I regret it. I know that it would have been a lot easier for me to make friends and be more involved if I lived on campus.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
The school is very laid-back; so any students that are looking to study and learn in an easy-going and natural envorinment, this is the school for you.
