awesome atmosphere. exceptional staff. perfect for small town kids like myself!
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
talk to the teachers!! take the tour! and ask lots of questions!!! the admissions staff is extremely friendly and are willing to answer your every question-no matter how trivial it seems!
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
the classes here are perfect for the small class size learner. personally i have a harder time learning in a big group setting. the classes themselves are designed to help you succeed while also challenging your abilities
Describe the dorm life at your college.
the dorms where a tad bit small but it's also a small school with few students actually living on campus.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
being a vegetarian, i'd have hoped a liberal arts college would have catered to my kind more but overall there menus are decent sized and the food cards give you (i think) 3 meals a day.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
rockford is huge!!! and if the city around it wasn't enough, rc has a lot of clubs and even just hanging out with the awesome students is entertaining.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
totally worth every cent.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
small class learners and small school lovers.
Are you involved in any clubs or activities?
they have so many clubs and extras! from yoga to the alternative spring break, you'll never run out of stuff to do! plus they are advocates of students starting and running their own new clubs.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
cs is in place but litterally may be used once or twice a year according to the tour guide(he said usually when they are needed its because a freshman got lost(: )
