What tips can you share with prospective students?

If you are able to, bring a car. I know not everyone can afford a car straight out of high school but PV is in the middle of no where and all the good food places are about 20 minutes away. I was basically stuck on campus unless I really needed something because i didn’t have a car and taking an uber/lyft could be very expensive.

How would you describe the dorm life at this school?

Freshmen dorms aren’t like the dorms you get as upperclassmen but they help u interact better with your peers. Being in an in-closed building helps u gain friendships u wouldn’t normally be able to do if they weren’t in-closed kind of like hotels. The dorms only have 2 people, y’all share one bathroom, and your “sides” of the room u get a bit of privacy. You don’t have to wake up and see ur roommate looking across from you. They always have freshmen events so that everyone can get out and meet more people once again. The Freshmen dorms build a community so that people are able to get out of their comfort zones and meet more people.

In your experience, what is there to do for fun at this college?

Our campus normally has something going on every single day or at least every other day. If it’s a campus event of off campus but near campus event. People are always planning things for the students of PV. As long as you follow PV social medias you’ll know what’s going on and when they are happening.
