Describe your college in three sentences.

pvamu provides you with an all around college experience from the classroom to the extracurricular activities. the history and culture you will soak in exceeds any parents expectations. professors at pvamu constantly show support to their students by aiding in any way possible in the students success.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

visit all buildings on campus, each one is filled with history. don't be afraid to mingle and socialize. utilize all services offered by the school including tutoring, health clinics etc

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

you will get all the help you need if you ask, everyone is willing to help you succeed any way possible.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

the way dorm life is set gives students a chance to grow as adults but also giving them a sense of safety. there are movie nights, games and more social events held with in the dormitory and campus to keep students involved and active

Describe the food and dining at your college.

there are numerous options for food and dinning including southern style meals which are great and fast food options as well.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

movie night game night msc events gym classes <zumba, yoga, cycling>

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

homecoming is something everyone should experience. i am not talking about just the parties. the band at pv is amazing, and their tail gating is great

social adventurous those wanting to dive into diversity

numerous orgs to join such as: pals gold members naacp org tutoring clubs environmental clubs

they do multiple seminars and events including community service that is informational and eye opening to all students

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

there emergency buttons all over campus but you should always walk with someone if its late or have some type of legal protection on you. <not a gun>
