In what clubs or organiziations have you participated and how have they impacted your overall experience?

I have participated in a number of business related clubs. I joined these because I wanted to get involved outside of the classroom and learn more regarding the field I want to pursue after my time at Penn State. These clubs were incredibly helpful and the people around each of the clubs were wonderful. My experience at Penn State has been amazing and these clubs are a major reason to that.

Are there any quirky or unique traditions that make your college special?

At Penn State we are incredibly involved in THON. THON is a philanthropic non-profit aiming to raise money for pediatric cancer. THON is such a big thing at this school that it is ingrained in the culture and many students say that it is the primary reason they came here. The cause is wonderful and we have raised record amounts of money year after year.

How has your college supported your career development and future goals?

Yes, my college has supported me in my career development and future goals. Having just finished my freshman year, I can say that although the whole college "scene" was definitely a bit overwhelming at first, Penn State offers many different organizations, programs, and staff that will aid a student like me in achieving their career aspirations.
