Describe your college in three sentences.

Ohio Northern is a small school in a small town. The campus is nice, and easy to walk to everything. The programs are good and most professors are good and accessible.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Make sure you can handle being on a small campus. Get to know your advisor and professors. Get involved in at least one student group; there are plenty to choose from.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

Classes are pretty intense, but you can always get help.Professors are easy to make appointments with. You can also get tutoring easily if you need it.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

Dorms are like everywhere else. Mostly on the small side. Choose a roommate wisely!

Describe the food and dining at your college.

There are not many dining options. The cafeteria is not bad, but you get tired of it. White Bear and NOM are good alternatives sometimes. Ada does have some great Italian and Mexican restaurants.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

Many groups on campus have events all the time. The Freed Center also has great shows and concerts. Just pay attention to emails and signs around campus.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

Seems expensive, but the scholarships and grants are very generous.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

Very safe environment.
