Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
Well, we have end of the year block parties with live music and numerous games. We also have something called Bell Tower where many students meet at the historical bell tower centered in the middle of the campus. We go there to talk, pray, and fellowship with each other! There is also the Rock Quarry which I call the mini Grand Canyon! Its a mountainous structure that was carved by students early in the 1900's. Its a perfect example of peace with is blue water below and an unforgettable view of the rest of the city! The students used some of the rocks to build what is known as Moran Hall, one of the school buildings. Absolutely stunning!!!
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Great for students who are ready to gain a spiritual experience that will change your life, friendships that will last a lifetime, and knowledge that can be passed through the generations to come!!!

Other than the theology students requirements to learn Greek, we don't have many Greek organizations. We do have a few related to academic achievements and others related to women and men of excellence!!!
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
Campus safety ensures that all students receive safety and work hard to keep us as safe and secure as possible. Campus safety stays connected to the students via email, text message, and school wide alerts. I have never felt more safe than I have living on and off campus at Oakwood University!
