nmt is a place for students who want to work hard. it is very affordable and provides an excellent education.

be prepared to work hard. study ahead of your classes. try to live and eat off campus.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
the courses are extremely demanding. you will spend most of your time studying or doing homework. nmt has a very high attrition rate.

the dorms are in a state of disrepair and residential live is very difficult to deal with. res life has a habit of giving tours to occupied rooms without getting resident's consent or even knocking. if you have anything you need them to do, they will stall you and waste your time until you leave them alone or contact university administrators.

chartwells is the only place to eat within walking distance. it isn't very good. you will need a strong stomach.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
there are bike trails and a golf course.

best deal in the country. tuition is extremely low.

there is a cave at the north end of the golf course. it is very difficult to find.
