Are there any quirky or unique traditions that make your college special?
My favorite unique tradition is river day. River day is a day where all of the classes are canceled and there are so many activities on campus. Live music, lawn games, food trucks and so much more. Everyone comes together to have fun!
How does this institution support campus safety or mental health and wellness programs?
NEC provides amazing mental health and wellness programs as well as supports campus safety. The mental health counseling is free and all of the counselors are kind and make you feel comfortable.
How has your college supported your career development and future goals?
NEC has supported my career development by setting me up for success. As an education major there are specific gateways for each year here at NEC. Faculty help to make sure and guide you to being on the right track so you will graduate fully ready and able to teach.
