The Montessori Education Center of the Rockies is a Montessori teacher training facility in northern Colorado. The MECR training program is divided into specializations in Infant & Toddler, Early Childhood, and Elementary Education, and also offers an overview course to introduce all students to Montessori principles. In addition to work in the classroom, all courses include a student teaching component and most students are compensated for this experience. All courses are taught in a collaborative learning environment where students receive immediate feedback from faculty and peers.
