Most of the teachers at MCC are really educated and know what they are teaching. I think that they give the student everything they need to do well in whichever class they are taking and it is up to the student to grasp, memorize, or let it go. I personally have learned a lot and wish that it was a 4 year college because I feel like I would really educate myself there.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
MCC has alot of different activities and programs to give a student an enjoyable time there. I do enjoy it there and found myself going earlier and staying later to just bask in the ambiance of the school and all of the people there. The teachers are all so caring and wanting the success of the student that some are willing to go that extra mile for the students. Even without mentioning the free food that is sometimes there, MCC is really enjoyable.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
MCC is one of the cheaper colleges to attend but I don't think you get what you pay for...I think you get more. The curriculum is a little higher than what you expect going into a community college. The teacher there seem to want to give you their knowledge so you can become as fascinated in the subject as they are.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Make sure to choose your teacher wisely because like at every institution there are teachers who enjoy teaching and there are teachers who could care less.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
I think it's great for every type of student out there. There is something for everyone.
