Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I live six hours away from Milwuakee but after attending my first year at Marquette, I feel like Milwaukee and the Marquette campus is my new home. I did not know a sinlge person going to Marquette my freshman year but the second I stepped foot on campus I began meeting people. Everyone on campus is so nice and friendly. All of my new college friends enhanced my college experience. Furthermore, there is nothing more exciting and fun than a Marquette University basketball game. Everyone who attends Marquette University loves it and they're not afraid to show it. No matter where you walk on campus, you will see students wearing their bright gold Golden Eagles' attire.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Although the tuition is pretty steep, it is totally worth it. Of course it is more expensive than state schools because it is a private, Catholic university. Marquette University realizes that the tuition is pricey and they help their students afford their education. Furthermore, you are paying for the quality of the education and professors. Honestly, the experience and education provided at Marquette University is priceless.

When you walk through the campus of the school you will attend, you will just feel like it is home and you will know it is the school for you. Also, when you visit the different schools, plan a campus tour. The tours are given by current students who will show you around, explain the history of the school, provide advice, and answer all of your questions. After you tour the campus, be sure to walk around and talk to random students strolling through campus. These students can provide different points of views and answer any other questions. They will not be scared to tell you the truth.

During the week everyone attends class and spends countless hours studying at the library while they sip their coffee. It can be quite competitive in terms of academics. Yet, once Friday rolls around, the students are stress-free and ready to have fun. Since the campus is in downtown Milwaukee, there is always something to do in the city or on campus. Marquette is also great for students looking for a medium-size school. The classes are similar to the size of high school classes so professors know your name and are always there to help or simply talk. For those students who are sports fans, welcome to Marquette Golden Eagles! Marquette basketball, soccer, and volleyball are the big sports on campus. When basketball season rolls around, the whole campus is on fire. It is impossible to describe an experience at a men's basketball game, but I will try. The arena is packed with die-hard fans, sporting their navy and gold gear, cheering and singing the Marquette fight song. Just visit the Marquette University campus and you will understand why everyone who attends Marquette loves it.
