Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. You'll learn to fall in love with something new.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
All of my professors have been accommodating to everything and always willing to help. They want to get to know you as a person, not just as a student in their class. The class sizes are small.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
They have just added new dorms. The resident assistants do a good job at making residents feel at home. The suite styles for upperclassmen are a very nice perk, but freshman dorms give such a good college experience as well.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
Sodexo food has so many choices for students to choose from. The dining hall meal plan is very good as well as having the chance to use thrifty cash to get other types of food from other dining services on campus such as sandwiches and salads.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
Marist has so much to offer on campus, but also gives us the opportunities to go off campus as well for trips to the city for broadway plays. I am involved in several clubs so I spend a lot of time participating in them.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
Feel very safe on campus. Security is always driving/walking around. We have a SNAP program where if you don't feel safe walking alone at night, other people will walk you back to your dorm.
