Ricardo's Review

Review of Loyola University Maryland

from Silver Spring, MD

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

Classes are taught by proffesors that want their students to learn and to enjoy the subjects they teach. Also, teachers are available for students when a student needs their help understanding the subject.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

The campus is not as big as others, yet the enviornment is calm and there are many sights to see in downtown Baltimore. Also, the school holds many activities sponsored and held by the different clubs.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

ALthough tuition is high, there is alot of financial aid and options to students. Faculty also helps students when they ask.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

The community at Loyola College is very family like. The size is not big, so it is not overwheliming for freshman, and people are generally friendly. Class sizes aree small, so teachers are always available to their students during their office hours. For upcoming freeshman, all I can say is that the school is very welcoming and you will enjoy the people here.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

People looking for small classes People looking for a great education People who love to be involved with their school community People who enjoy community service and helping others
