They will push you to go outside your personal boundaries and allow you to explore alternative methods of learning. While you will learn a lot about yourself here, absorption of actual curriculum appears to be suffer.

This school is in the middle of your average mid-west town, but this makes it rather quaint in it's own right. To be honest, there isn't that much to do in Galesburg, and the student committees don't help all that much. Despite this, coming from a current student, weekends are fun even if tangible activities are hard to be found. If you enjoy socializing in dorms, finding random activities to do, and studying the rest of your time, then this is the place for you.

This school has a history in financial aid. Originally a labor college, the Knox of today is more than willing to provide generous merit and financial aid to prospective students, making its cost competitive with public universities.
