With a campus overlooking Newport Harbor, the International Yacht Restoration School is a marine technology academy on the southern coast of Rhode Island. IYRS offers academic programs in Boatbuilding, Digital Modeling, Marine Systems and Composites Technology. The IYRS Restoration Hall facility is configured as an open-space workshop surrounded by an elevated catwalk for faculty observation. For students looking to earn a 4-year degree, all IYRS credits transfer to bachelor’s degree programs in three Rhode Island colleges and universities.
