There are some classes I have taken that I have looked back on and wondered what the heck I learned. But, for the most part, the courses are challenging and apply to real life scenarios. The teachers here are wonderful people who are always happy to help out a struggling student.

The people in Ames are generally good, nice people. Ames has a small town feel to it, but is just big enough to have some nightlife for the students to enjoy. And don't forget about VEISHEA or the Freeman Spring Concert!
