i love iupui. i love how much the professors care about the students. i love how it feels like a home to me. and i love how much the school has to offer. i've gotten so many opportunities from iupui that i wouldn't have gotten anywhere else.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
make the most of your time at iupui. when i first started at iupui, it was way more of a communter campus, but it is starting to slowly turn away from that. live in the dorms and join clubs. putting yourself into an organization will make iupui feel a lot smaller and make you feel at home.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
professors really challenge you at iupui because they want to give you the best education you can get. you get a lot out of your classes here.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
i met most of my friends from ball hall freshman year. since my freshman year, they've converted university hotel into the tower, and have built new dorms. iupui is really growing and the new dorms seem to be really nice.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
the food in the campus center is awesome, however, i wish it was open later. the tower food is alright, i haven't really tried much of it though. there are a lot of food options that are very close to campus.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
being right by downtown indianapolis, there is always something going on. there are a lot of concerts and sporting events (hockey, baseball, basketball, football, soccer). the canal walk is a great place to go on a run or walk. the indianapolis zoo is very close and is a great time.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
i've been given so many opportunities with hands on learning, internships, and leadership training that i would have never gotten anywhere else.
Are you involved in any clubs or activities?
as a part of greek life at iupui, i have learned to love this school so much more. its make it feel like home to me. i never go a day on campus without seeing someone i've met through greek life. its like having a second family away from home.
