Describe your college in three sentences.

This is wonderful school for those looking for the home feeling. The instructors are kind and understanding and the community is great. Glenville State is just a wonderful and safe environment for learning and growing as a student.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Bring a fan for you dorm room, you'll thank me later. Always smile and try to make friends, they'll be friends you'll have for the rest of your life. Always go to class, you'll need the sick days later.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The Academic system at Glenville is one of the better ones in the state. The instructors of the institution are very understanding and want you to succeed.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

The dorms are quite nice and can be very spacious if you know what to do. The RAs are very understanding and moving can be easy.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

The Mollohan restaurants and the Rusty Musket can be a bit much to handle, but there are a few other dining choices in town. A China One, Subway, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and a few family owned restaurants.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

There a few restaurants in town. Clarksburg, a large city is about an hour away, Cedar park is just a short ways up the road. The locals are very nice and open to the college students.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

The campus and Glenville as a whole is notorious for being haunted. The stories of Sis Lynn and Marble Boy give the campus a sort of historic feeling.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

There are some great clubs, Frats and sororities on campus. Most of the organizations on campus get along greatly, but do your homework before you go jumping into something blind.

Greek life is thriving on campus and all the Frats and sororities are open to new students.

The schools Public Safety officers go above and beyond their call of duty.
