


Franciscan School of Theology
Overview
Affiliated with the University of San Diego, the Franciscan School of Theology is a Roman Catholic institution and the only Franciscan seminary in the United States. Franciscan offers three master’s degree programs in Divinity, Arts, and Theological Studies as well as a hybrid master’s degree that combines the Divinity and Theological Studies programs. As a Roman Catholic seminary, Franciscan holds weekly school liturgies followed by lunch receptions. In addition, all students work with the seminary’s Associate Dean to develop a personal spiritual covenant known as the Rule of Life.
