Describe your college in three sentences.

I am currently on a one semester break from the virtual college at Fort Hays State University. The on line options and the affordability of the school are amazing and the teaching staff, even though we are thousands of miles apart, do care about your development as a student and want you to succeed.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

I can only speak for online students - Make sure you are disciplined enough to read through the text, read the lectures, and complete all the assignments before the deadline and you will succeed.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The teaching is very professional, just as anyone would imagine an accredited four year institution.

I can't speak to that.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

I don't live in the area.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

The out of state tuition cost less than in state tuition for students in California, where I live.

I have never been on campus.

Great for disciplined online students.
