Although there are many lecture classes with up to 500 students, most of the classes specifically for your major are very hands on and educational. Professors are very eager to help you learn and make it enjoyable to excel.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
Coming from a small town myself makes me love Fort Collins even more. It's a large city with small town feel where you can hike on trails, take a bike ride, or swim in Horsetooth, but if you want to to something exciting there are always clubs, bars, and tons of great places to eat.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Being an out-of-state student has disadvantages of having a large financial burden, however CSU is worth every penny to me. I would not change colleges for anything and think it is well worth my money.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Make sure you tour the college before you go and also get to know your roommate in the dorms before you move in via Facebook, instant message, or phone call.. It helps make the living situation easy from the start.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Students in the College of Agriculture have a huge advantage I feel since the school was originally intended for those students and then expanded. Theses professors put their hearts and souls into everything they do. GO AGGIES!
