Review of College of Southern Idaho

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

I am learning a ton, the school is very wide open and easy to navigate. The campus offers a wide variety of classes for multiple degree's whether you are going here for a Transferable Degree or trying to find a degree that will stay with you for the rest of your career, this is definitely the place to go.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

Very beautiful campus, every teacher has a open door policy including the president of the college. It is easy to get involved in club activities and visit games and other events. There is a event almost every night for students to attend (most of them free) and involve students in a wide array of activities. The clubs have flexible meeting times around people's schedules and if a person cannot make it, no worry as the advisers are always willing to get with students after club hours.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

Cheapest in Idaho, and they provide great benefits at no extra cost like giving students 500 pages for print each semester and copy cards. Also (like mentioned above) they provide events at little or no charge to students almost every night).

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Always try to get to your teachers after their classes and not wait until six o'clock in the day, usually they are gone by then. Also, as it is important to many, the College of Southern Idaho General Scholarship form on the College of Southern Idaho website is for students enrolling and re-enrolling in the college. The form is a general one and the scholarship center at the college fills out multiple scholarship applications for students given the information provided in the form. It is always a good idea to fill out this application for scholarships as it is for more than just one. All the scholarship money you do not use for tuition during your semesters at the college is given back to you to use on books or whatever you need for school.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Students that work part time (or full time depending on your dedication) and want to go to school cheaply without draining your wallet. Check us out, the College of Southern Idaho is one of the best in the state!
