Review of Coe College

from N Muskegon, MI

Will learn a lot

I visited around ten schools and Coe won in terms of classwork hands down. Nowhere else did teachers seem as caring and students as engaged as here, even in more expensive, prestigious liberal arts schools.

Will enjoy being here

Everyone I met at Coe was really friendly, and it didn't feel like it was just because I was a prospie. In fact, this is the only place I didn't feel singled out for special treatment BECAUSE I was a prospie. I really got to see what the people were like, and what they were was REALLY nice and genuine.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

Coe is really expensive. There. That's been said. But their scholarships are amazing. I wish I had applied sooner, but even applying only a couple weeks before deadline, I managed to get 2/3 of the cost covered just by the school.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Apply early! Visit campus. I had no idea I would love Coe this much until I visited. They send out a lot of mail. Don't be scared of that, either.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

-people who are willing to explore a lot -people who like sports but don't want it to dominate their life -art students
