Review of Carroll University

from Waukesha, WI

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

With the LSP and FYS programs for freshmen, as well as a huge variety of classes, I have learned a lot; and they made the transition from high school to college easy and painless.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

There are constantly activities going on and orientation groups allowed me to meet other freshmen right away. All the students are great and I'm friendly with a lot of people. I have a tight group of friends that are really great. The professors are very helpful and are easy to talk to if you need help.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

Although the small school setting is great, the education is amazing, and the people are all incredible, it is very expensive. That being said, they came up with a very good scholarship package.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

If you live on campus: leave your dorm door open. Even if you are more introverted, there are people who will introduce themselves around. Hang out with the people on your floor and make connections with people in your classes. If you live off campus: make sure that you attend a lot of on-campus activities. They're free and you will meet a lot of people who share similar intrests as you.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Carroll University is great for anyone really. The students are great, the faculty members are wonderful, and the Physical Therapy program only takes 6 years for a doctorate.
