Describe your college in three sentences.
CSUCI is an amazingly beautiful school. It is a smaller school but big enough to walk around and find many places. It is remote but 10 minutes from the beach and shopping outlets.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Definitely start with lower division req.'s for the first semester. Make meetings with peer counselors, they really help.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
If your major is difficult, you will have a difficult workload.
Class sizes are awesome so if you need help, you'll get it.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
The dorms are the best. Extremely spacious and there are plenty of common rooms and game rooms or other rooms for you to spend your free time.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
The food here is just awesome. Don't get more than the minimum 160 plan, you won't run out.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
The Beach is 10 minutes away, as are the Camarillo Outlets.
UCSB. the top party school is just an hour away.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
It is great for the price.

Great for students coming from average sized public high schools who enjoy a feeling of community within their learning environment.

Plenty of clubs to go around, one for just about every major and sport.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
CI Police is just a minute away. Plenty of emergency call buttons around campus.
Late night pick up service is offered to students on campus trying to get elsewhere (dorms, parking lot, library) late at night and just want added safety.
