Out of all the colleges I researched, Bridgewater State was one of the cheapest. It's only about $6,000 a year for commuter students who live in Massachusetts and $12,000 a year for commuter students who live out of state. Room and board is about $10,000 a year.

Try to apply early action if you can. At Bridgewater State many students who fit the requirements get denied through regular decision because so many people apply. If you meet the requirements for Bridgewater State and apply early actions, you are automatically accepted to the school and are guaranteed housing. Don't be discouraged if you do not get in. Bridgewater State offers a program with Massasoit Community College where you can attend Massasoit until you are able to transfer to Bridgewater.
