Do you feel you’re learning a lot?
I have learned a lot, but it has been tarnished by a few professors who are not as sympathetic to first year students' struggles while adjusting to college life/schoolwork/expectations.
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I love the size of the campus. Its just big enough that there are many different opportunities, but small enough that instructors actually get to know you as more than a number.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
In comparison to the private school I was looking at, this is much more financially responsible as a choice. There are a lot of good things on campus that the money goes towards, and they all enhance the college experience.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
Know that it is a notorious party school. If you are not ready for that type of an atmosphere, then it might not be the best place for you.
Which types of students will excel at your college?
Great for students coming from smaller to medium sized communities. Especially if they are looking to go to a larger city after graduation. It is a good transition size.
