At Bloomsburg University, I have learned so much for my first semester. It is a blessing to wake up every morning and going to class, knowing that you are going to get the education needed to succeed. The professors are willing to work with you and help you become a better student. Every class is equipped with a professor that is able to teach you the necessary material needed to pass. I've learned a lot from not only my major classes but also from general education classes. My high school did not prepare me for this so it was a challenge, but I am catching on and learning a lot!
Do you enjoy the experience at your school?
I love being at Bloomsburg University. When its Christmas break or Thanksgiving break, I am always so eager to return back to Bloomsburg University. I met new people and professors. The food is really good and the environment is a natural clean feeling. Sometimes the weather can be unpredictable, but overall it's amazing. There are activities going on all the time and there are plenty of groups to join such as Gospel Choir, Program Board, Fraternities, Sororities, Sports, Band, etc. There is so much to do on campus!
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
Bloomsburg University is definitely not an expensive school compared to others. Financial aid plays a big role for your college tuition. They also offer scholarships! Paying for books can be a hassle sometimes so they provide a book loan in the beginning of the semester to buy books that you need for class and they will take it out of your refund check. It's amazing what they can do to help you. Some people say that meal plans are expensive but it is totally worth every penny! You can select your meal plan to what is affordable for you!

For all students who would like to attend this university, I say, be prepared for anything. There is much to learn starting out as a freshmen but there are also people that are there to help. If you find yourself struggling, you can apply for tutoring and visit your professor for extra help during office hours. You have to be ready to learn and determine to accomplish anything!

Setting goals for yourself is a great way to achieve them with no problem. Time management is also important. Having a daily planner and a calendar can also help you finish things on time.
