When I think of Bloomsburg I think of three things, Passionate, Integrity and Family. The atmosphere you get here is the same as what you would feel at home. Bloomsburg is a place like no other.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
The biggest things students should consider is how you manage your time. Managing your time is the biggest aspect of college life because you have so much time for yourself that you wouldn't know how to spend your time up here. My advice, MANAGE YOUR TIME!
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
There are lots of classes and majors to choose from. Nothing in life is easy, but hard work defines what a Husky (Bloomsburg mascot) means. In order to prepare for classes, plan, organize, study, read daily, and most importantly, ask questions.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
Dorm life is excellent. There are vast amounts of dorms to live in and it's a great way to meet people and you learn independence by living on your own.
Describe the food and dining at your college.
You have choices off- and on-campus to eat. Food and Dining Halls are ubiquitous and you have lots of choices to choose from. The food is excellent, inexpensive and the overall atmosphere is enjoyable.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
The activities here at Bloomsburg are endless. You can go to the movies, join clubs, go to the gym, go to the game room, other people dorms, etc. the list goes on and on.

Bloomsburg is great for all types of students. There are people of every race, religion and ethnic groups. There's diversity and that's important because it's a great thing to learn about other cultures.
