Overview
Established in 1994, Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine is a private, medical education institution located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. ATOM offers a Master of Oriental Medicine program, a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program, and the opportunity to earn a PhD in Shanghai through a collaboration with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Students at ATOM take part in internships at the ATOM Intern Clinic with oversight from licensed doctors and physicians, providing patient care with state-of-the-art acupuncture and Oriental medicine equipment as well as a fully stocked herbal pharmacy.
