With campus a short walk from Lake Michigan, American Islamic College is an Islamic university in Chicago dedicated to training future leaders of Muslim institutions. AIC features a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies as well as master of arts and master of divinity programs. The Islamic Studies curriculum encompasses subjects such as Qur’anic Studies, Islamic Legal Theory, and Islamic Spirituality. Among its program of guest lectures, AIC hosts a number of interfaith dialogue events and leaders from local Christian seminaries are frequently invited to observe Friday prayer services.
