Describe your college in three sentences.
Acadiana campus is in need for teachers, faculity and staff. The teachers that are here work wonderfully with the students, and work harder to pick up the slack so we can stay open. Arcadian campus is the only college for the people in Crowley, and it's amazing that since I have started a year ago so many new people have joined.
Do you have any tips for prospective students?
A tip I have is make sure when you start college have your mind made up what you want to do, and stick with it don't give up. The race is not given to the swift or the strong, but to the one that endures to the end!!

What’s there to do for fun at your college?
I love to sing and spend time with my two sons when I get out of class for the day. I also love to cook, and create new things. God blessed me to be gifted with my hands.
Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?
I have been on the path for achieving success for over a year now. I have learned along the way that it's not going to be easy, and their will come trials and tribulations to try to stop you from reaching your goal. I have been knocked down, went hungry, had no baby-sitter, no money, no vehicle, and had to walk everywhere we had to go; But through it all I have learned to trust God and never give up. It is hard sometimes with me and my husband in school and no steady income, but I see our future and it looks much better than now.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
The tradition I love is when the Welding instructor has a dinner for his students at the end of every semester, and invites everyone to come.
