The program covers tuition, books, and fees—up to $6,700 per year for a bachelor’s and $20,000 total for a master’s. Applications must be recommended by their chain of command and submitted during the annual application window. 

Participants agree to a service obligation of two years for a bachelor’s and three years for a master’s degree after program completion. The AEV Program supports mission-focused learning while helping enlisted Sailors grow into senior leadership roles.
