Westmoreland Coal Company for Medical Students Scholarship

This scholarship is for full-time students who live in West Virginia and are pursuing a degree in medicine at an accredited medical college. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 2.5 GPA, have a 20 ACT score, and demonstrate good moral character. Preference is given to Boone County residents. Scholarship recipients must promise to practice medicine in Boone County upon completion of schooling and an intern/residency program, for a stipulated period of time further defined in the scholarship application.
