Walter & Joyce Scholten Health Careers Scholarship

This scholarship is for seniors at Beloit Memorial High School in Beloit, Wisconsin, who are pursuing a bachelor's degree in pre-med, nursing, social work, or any other major related to healthcare. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, have demonstrated good citizenship while at BMHS, and have one year of service/work/internship in a health-related setting (e.g., volunteer at hospital, work at a medical office, volunteer with Meals on Wheels, etc.). To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit an essay on why they wish to pursue a healthcare career and submit three letters of recommendation, two of which must be from teachers.
