Upakar Scholarship Program

Upakar Indian-American Scholarship Foundation

This scholarship is for students who were born or whose parent or parents were born in the Republic of India. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be graduating high school seniors living in the United States, have a cumulative 3.6 GPA or higher, and be actively seeking enrollment in a two-year community college or undergraduate four-year degree program at a college or university in the United States for the academic year. Applicants must have a Family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of less than $90,000. Scholarships are awarded based on academic record, financial need, a well-written essay response, and a letter of recommendation.
