This scholarship is for students attending SUNY, CUNY, and not-for-profit independent degree-granting colleges in New York. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be legal residents of New York state; have graduated from high school, earned a GED, or passed a federally approved "Ability to Benefit" test; have declared a major no later than within 30 days from the end of the add/drop period; be charged at least $200 tuition per year; and meet income eligibility limitation. Applicants must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and have earned 12 credits or more in each of two consecutive semesters.
