Thomas W. Doggins Memorial Scholarship
Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia
The Thomas W. Doggins Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by the Doggins family in 2013 in memory of the former York County School Division teacher. This endowed fund, managed by at the Peninsula Community Foundation via the York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. provides a scholarship for a graduating Tabb High School senior, who is in need of financial aid for post-secondary education at a four-year college, university, community college, or technical/trade school. The scholarship is available to a student has demonstrated a strong work ethic and integrity, maintained an average GPA and exhibits the wonderful characteristics that Mr. Doggins looked for in his students.
