Science Matters Scholarship

Ventura County Community Foundation

This scholarship is awarded to a Ventura County resident who will graduate this year from a Ventura County high school or who has previously graduated from a Ventura County high school and will enroll/is enrolled at an accredited 4-year college or university in pursuit of a degree to become a teacher at the elementary or high school level with a focus on science education; acceptable majors include liberal studies with a focus on science education, or chemistry, physics, biology, or geology with the intent to become a science teacher. Candidates must demonstrate financial need and have a minimum 3.2 GPA.
