Scholarship for Sons & Daughters of Employees of Roseburg Forest Products

This scholarship is for legal dependents (child or stepchild) of employees of Roseburg Forest Products Company. The parent must have been employed continuously by Roseburg Forest Products Co. for at least 18 months prior to the deadline. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be less than 21 years of age as of the the application and plan to attend any two- or four-year, public or private, non-profit or for-profit, postsecondary institution in the United States. Applicants also must demonstrate the following: leadership skills and leadership roles in his/her school and/or community activities; a concern for others and an involvement in volunteer projects and/or service organizations; a contribution to personal success through paid work experience; an ability to clearly communicate about personal strengths and goals and to present ideas clearly and concisely; an ability to succeed in college as demonstrated by satisfactory SAT or ACT scores or a high school or college GPA; and a sound educational plan. Financial need is considered but not required.
