Saginaw Valley Ag Heritage Scholarship
Saginaw Community Foundation
This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors and current college students from Saginaw County, Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and plan to pursue a career in agriculture or an a related field, including agricultural engineering, agriscience education, animal science, crop/soil science, environmental economics, food science/management, forestry, horticulture, or parks and recreation. Applicants must be current or prior members of Saginaw County 4-H, FFA, or a similar program based in Saginaw County and must have exhibited at the Saginaw County Fair or provided service, including volunteer work, to the fair. Selection will be based on scholastic record; recommendation letters; leadership; an essay; participation in 4-H, FFA, or the Saginaw County Fair; school/community activities; and farm and/or work experience.
