This scholarship was established by Sara A. Miura, a fifth-generation Kaua'i resident, when she was 30 years old. Sara founded this scholarship to benefit Kaua'i residents that wish to pursue post-secondary education to enhance their lifelong learning and prepare them for their professions. This scholarship gives preference to students of divorced parents.
