Ren H. Rice Scholarship

Inland Northwest Community Foundation

The scholarship supports students with one of the following circumstances: Students in foster care, guardianship or group homes or emancipated minors not in the care, custody or control of their birth parents. Students in foster care for the majority of his/her life and not in contact with biological parents for a significant period of time. Applicants must submit proof of their status as described above. or, Applicants can be students with physical disabilities. Applicants must provide a doctor’s report describing the disability and the limitation to their ability to work. Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates age 21 or younger and must attend accredited post-secondary schools in Washington state on a full- or part-time basis. Applicants must also have a residence of Spokane County. Recipients may re-apply in subsequent years, regardless of age.
