NTA North America Scholarship

American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) Foundation, Inc.

This scholarship is for citizens or permanent residents of the United States or Canada. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled as full- or part-time undergraduate and graduate students in a travel-and-tourism- or hospitality-related program of study, who can demonstrate a clear focus on and commitment to the tourism-subject area. Applicants must be attending a college or university in the United States or Canada. Applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or greater on a US 4.0 scale. Applicants must be one of the following: (1) entering any semester of third year in the upcoming fall at an accredited three-year school (for Quebec) and completing 60 credit hours by the end of the semester or term; (2) entering any semester of junior year in the upcoming fall at an accredited four-year college or university and completing a minimum of 60 credit hours by the end of the semester or term; (3) entering any semester of senior year in the upcoming fall at an accredited four-year college or university and completing a minimum of 90 credit hours by the end of the semester or term; or (4) entering any year of graduate study in the upcoming fall at an accredited four-year college or university.
