Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program (NHHSP)

This scholarship is for Native Hawaiians who are enrolled full-time in a fully accredited health profession program. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be dedicated to providing primary health services to Native Hawaiians in the state of Hawaii and be able to move within Hawaii (to any island) based on the needs of the scholarship program. They must also not have any conflicting service obligations; be free of judgment liens arising from federal debt; and not be excluded, debarred, suspended, or disqualified by a federal agency. Scholarship recipients must provide one year of primary health services for each full or partial year of scholarship support received, with a minimum of two years of service and a maximum of four years.
