This scholarship is for high school seniors at Marlboro County High School, Bennettsville, South Carolina. If no qualified student can be found at Marlboro County High School, then a resident of Connie Maxwell Children's Home, Greenwood, South Carolina would be chosen using the same guidelines. Applicants must be in need of financial assistance, must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale, and attend a college or university located in South Carolina and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities. Preference shall be given to an applicant whose father is deceased.
