Applicants must be a graduating high school senior, a high school graduate, or current college student (undergraduate or graduate) who is a child or grandchild of an employee of the Martinsville City Police. Department who have been employed for at least five years or was employed with the department for ten years and left in good standing. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate the ability to satisfactorily complete college-level studies.
